Job description

Perform structural steel calculations for commercial and/or industrial projects and prepare written reports for submittal and review· Review and provide input on structural fabrication drawings· Use appropriate design codes for the projects· Work directly with customers through written and oral communication· Ability to stamp drawing in multiple jurisdictions is a plus

Requirements: · B.S. from an accredited institution of higher learning in the disciplines of Structural or Architectural Engineering. Master’s degree preferred but not required.· 3 years minimum experience in structural design· Have working knowledge of structural analysis software such as RISA 3D, RISA Connections, Bentley RAM Connections and also drafting programs such as AutoCAD. Tekla experience is a plus.· Must be well versed in applicable design codes such as ASCE-7, AISC and IBC. Knowledge of HSS design and NAAMM Stair & Handrail design is a plus.· Able to manage multiple projects at one time· Able to work with a diverse group of designers and engineers· Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment and the ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with colleagues.· EOR experience a plus but not required

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
