The position: Estimator
The estimator is a key contributor to our collaborative process by providing accurate and timely estimates. They have a knack for thoughtful negotiation and communication with a diverse client base. They are proactive and able to dig into the uncertainty to create clarity around assumptions and enjoy asking the right questions.
Key Responsibilities
- Preconstruction TVD Budgeting
- Prepare Take Offs
- Updated Project Budgeting
- Create and Prepare Proposals
- Maintain Vendor Relationships
- Manage Bid history
- Provide VE Options
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- 5+ years’ estimating experience in the miscellaneous metals and(or) structural steel industry
- Able to read Architectural and Structural Construction drawings.
- Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.
- Experience TeklaEPM experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain organization of multiple duties across multiple projects, continuously progressing toward goals, and drives results to completion.
