General Summary
This posting is for Student Employees who currently work in Catering to apply to be Student Personnel Managers in Catering. If you have not worked for Catering for at least 1 semester, you are not eligible to apply.
A Student Personnel Manager for the Department of Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality is an exciting position with excellent opportunities for learning and growth. This position will work closely with the Student Hiring and Training Administrator and the Administrators in the unit they are assigned. This position conducts orientations, tracks student discipline, facilitates schedule changes, maintains student employee files and may conduct student interviews.
Required Qualifications
A qualified candidate must have the ability and willingness to work during summer break (June, July, and August).

- Understanding of and willingness to enforce EMDH mission, vision, goals, policies and procedures.
- Not have any serious discipline within the current semester.
- Demonstrate a service-minded, approachable, friendly, enthusiastic attitude and inclusive appreciation of all student workers.
- Ability and willingness to learn, take constructive feedback, apply it to work, and participate in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is helpful.
- Be able to provide a history of demonstrating professional integrity, dependability, and adaptability.
- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to Demonstrate planning, organization, and record keeping accuracy.
- Ability to create accurate and complete records while maintaining confidentiality.

This position is subject to a criminal background investigation based on University Policy 3.1.30 and any offer of employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation.
