Island Treasure Toys is looking for part-time summer help in our Freeport store, from early June to late August. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greeting and helping customers
• Accurate cash handling and Point of Sale transactions
• Supporting the Store Manager in creating a memorable and "Wow" customer experience
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store
• Other duties as assigned, such as tagging and merchandising

Qualifications:

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred
• Professional maturity and the ability to gracefully ensure our safety guidelines are followed by customers
• Excited to serve families and their children
• Ability to think on your feet, always with a smile
• Experience using retail POS systems preferred, but not necessary
• Available to flexibly work weekends (there will also be weekday shifts)
• Comfortable being on feet for duration of shifts
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
• Ability to walk upstairs to our store and climb ladders to retrieve items from high shelves
