General Responsibilities:
Summer school teacher hired through local school district Title 1 to teach 64 hours of remedial summer school from June 19-29, 2023.
Assess and intervene where students show gaps from previous school year to prepare them for the next academic year.

Essential Tasks
- Assess data from 22-23 school year to determine where individual students have need for further intervention.
- Plan lessons at various grade levels in math, reading and writing to assist those students who are struggling and could benefit from small group instruction to bring them up to grade level.
- Make notes and track progress to inform teacher for new school year where students have made improvements and where needs still exist.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Teaching License required
- Background check and fingerprinting required along with other documentation
- required by the Flint Community School District
- Willing to work with children from kindergarten through 8th grade
