You could be the one who changes everything for our 26 million members as a clinical professional on our Medical Management/Health Services team. Centene is a diversified, national organization offering competitive benefits including a fresh perspective on workplace flexibility.Position Purpose: Supervise the day to day work functions of regional Member Advocates and assist with the resolution of complex Member complaints
Ensure member advocates adhere to established complaints and appeals policies
Act as the Complaints Coordinator; ensuring all complaints are resolved and responded to appropriate parties
Ensure all department deliverables are submitted on a timely basis
Maintain sensitive files and documents following HIPAA regulations
Develop and maintain department policies and procedures and ensure the staff is current on policy changes or additions
Assist in developing Member materials and training programs
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of related experience in the Healthcare or Insurance industry. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area or managing cross functional teams on large scale projects.
