Legacy is seeking a Supplemental Gynecologic Oncologist physician.


Portland is a city that continually ranks in the top 10 for livability and includes both urban and family-friendly communities. Portland has a wide arrange of nationally recognized parks for hiking and off-road biking. The city is sophisticated, offering diverse cultural activities including a wide range of theater, musicals and museums open throughout the year. In the spring and summer months, Portlanders gather on the waterfront for concerts and fun activities. If your desire is to step out of the city, take a hike in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge, hit the slopes of Mt. Hood, or catch a wave off the Oregon Coast – all are a short drive from Portland.

Description:
  • Board Eligible or Board-Certified Gynecologic Oncologist
  • Work with an experienced team of providers: 3 Physicians, 3 Physician Assistants and 1 Nurse Practitioner
  • Comprehensive cancer services at the Legacy Cancer Institute include medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, colorectal and urology surgeons, interventional radiologists, and support services with patient navigators, social work and survivorship programs
  • Robust clinical trials program, GOG/NRG site designation
  • Gynecologic Oncology Tumor board twice per month
  • Non-clinical responsibilities include teaching MIGS fellows, ObGyn residents and medical students
  • Cover call for 3 hospital campuses. Call is equally shared between all partners in group.
Qualification and Licensure Requirements:
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Graduate of a four-year accredited U.S. Medical School or the equivalent.
  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology followed by fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology.
  • Board Certified or board eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
  • Robotic competency sufficiently documented to obtain hospital privileges
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state.
  • Current BLS or ATLS certification.
