This position has responsibilities in all aspects of Supply Chain operations and is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day supply chain business results are achieved. This role combines analysis and reporting along with hands-on application within each of the departments in Supply Chain to ensure excellence in the overall performance of the operations. The position provides backup and support to key positions within the Supply Chain team.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Source and purchase materials per specifications provided.
· Ensure all material requisition orders and sales orders are fulfilled on a regular basis.
· Leverage suppliers across multiple procurements to create cost savings to project(s).
· Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the supplier’s reputation and history.
· Prepare and issue RFQs and evaluate supplier proposals and prepare bid evaluations in accordance with Company procedures.
· Negotiate pricing and commercial terms and conditions with suppliers on orders to be placed.
· Confer with staff and suppliers on defective or unacceptable goods/services and determine corrective action.
· Assist, support, and provide backup coverage for all Supply Chain team members.
· Maintain Work Order Management system and understanding of production work order / material commitment, and back flushing.
· Liaise with logistics staff to provide delivery dates and shipping information.
· Maintain and update ERP to ensure accuracy

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements for the job)
· BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Minimum 3 years Supply Chain and operations experience
· Oil and gas industry experience required
· Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
· Understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories.
· Familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM) software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software.
· Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines; detail oriented.
· Inventory management experience is a plus
