Position Summary

Under supervision by the Program Manager of the Inclusive Practices in Early Childhood program of the Human Development Center, the incumbent in this position will coordinate activities including family support and case management, and community outreach. In addition, the Support Coordinator is responsible for providing training and technical assistance in case management, managing disability service documentation, and monitoring provision of services by contractors. The person in this position also will manage professionals/consultant services and collaborate with community agencies in the provision of family engagement activities that will promote positive parenting. Finally, this position is responsible for preparing and delivering a seminar overviewing the key competencies in support coordination to graduate students, providing support coordination to families participating in HDC’s clinics (i.e., ASD and FASD interdisciplinary diagnostic and treatment clinics), as well as developing and proctoring graduate student Support Coordination clinical experiences.
