Position Description

The Support Specialist - Specialty Programs and Operations will have two primary functions 1) supporting members/Providers collaborating in a telehealth visit and 2) performing quality assurance for all scheduled visits

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Trouble shoots member/Provider issues with accessing the telehealth portal prior to or during a telehealth visit
  • Performs quality checks of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and scheduling platform to ensure member demographic information is present and accurate
  • Performs quality checks of EHR to ensure call center agent notes are appropriately placed to inform Provider of any needed updates
  • Generates and review reports in the EHR regarding the telehealth activities and report any issues to Clinical/Operation’s team leadership
  • Creates quick reference guides (QRG”s) to assist with training and supporting Providers and call center agents
  • Schedules members for health assessment visits
  • Completes member and Provider reminder calls as needed
  • Communicates with Providers to inform them of late member cancellations or schedule updates
  • Leads overbooking or ad hoc scheduling projects
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 2 years of Customer Service experience
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
  • Advanced operational knowledge of Microsoft Office and Scheduling Systems

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Health Care experience
  • Telehealth platform experience
  • Outbound dialer experience
  • Experience working with remote team members
