ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage operation of firewall, malware protection and other security measures to ensure a secure environment.
- Ensure an adequate network exists to support local and remote users throughout the organization.
- Diagnose and remedy issues pertaining to network, servers, and endpoints including hardware and software.
- Recommends and acquires approved solutions including hardware and software.
- Maintains inventory of hardware and software licenses.
- Administer user accounts and E-Mail.
- Ensure appropriate system patches/upgrades are applied.
- Maintain documentation of network.
- Provides technical support to users.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Responsibilities require an understanding of server, networking and telecommunications theory and practice.
- Requires a 4-year degree or extensive training and experience (5 years minimum) in Information Systems Technology.
- Certified Network Engineer credentials preferred.
- Requires strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical capabilities are a must.
- Some travel required.
