The GEICO Service Center Technology Services Department is looking for a highly motivated candidate with 2+ years of Information Technology experience to join our team that is currently working in the information technology field. The ideal candidate will be experienced in supporting customers over the phone, providing excellent customer service, and troubleshooting minor/major computer issues including:

  • VPN

  • Virtual Machines

  • Active Directory and password administration

  • Smartphones

  • Must be comfortable working on the phones full time assisting GEICO Internal customers. Multi-tasking is key in this role as you will be using multiple applications to service our customers.

Requirements:

  • Computing devices, operating systems, software installation, and network configurations
  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Excellent communication skills including spoken and written skills
  • Strong troubleshooting background and experience
  • Must be able to use an incident tracking such as Remedy and Confluence
  • Able to multi-task and work effectively as part of a team
  • Command prompt, PowerShell scripting, security groups management experience is a plus
  • Various shifts may be needed depending on departmental needs including, Evenings, nights and weekends
  • Power BI and Excel skills


Preferred Certification:


AZ-900 or related field certification A+, Network + Security+
