Disney Streaming Services, a global leader in direct-to-consumer video streaming products and solutions, is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer video businesses globally including ESPN+, Disney+, Star+ and Hulu.
This position is an opportunity to be a part of a newly expanded program in the Identity Engineering organization within Disney Streaming providing onboarding and customer engagement for our Identity services with business units across The Walt Disney Company (TWDC). This Technical Program Manager role is a key program position that will drive efficiency, communication and adoption of strategic products and initiatives across The Walt Disney Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple onboarding’s of varying size and complexity from execution to launch working across the Identity and partner organizations as required.
- Manage and communicate program’s scope, timelines, dependencies and risks via email, direct communication and presentations with the Business Units, Program Lead and Senior Leadership.
- Identify, design and scale-up onboarding and engagement processes as well as consistently evaluating existing processes for ways to improve at every iteration.
- Provide ongoing support for businesses with complex integrations and continued Onboarding needs.
- Work collaboratively with partner stakeholders including Data Governance, Brand, Security, Legal to ensure onboardings are aligned with TWDC standards.
- Help develop and manage Go-to-Market planning and roll-outs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of program/project management, ideally in web and mobile software engineering or related field.
- Experience in process development and improvement with a proven track record of stakeholder adoption.
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced matrixed environment with regulatory compliance oversight.
- Superior attention to detail supported by excellent written and verbal communication with all levels within the company
- Ability to lead virtual teams, lead a mix of contract and FTE team members across organizations and time zones.
- Excel in leading effective meetings, planning, documenting decisions and follow up.
- Possesses excellent people interaction skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism while demonstrating the ability to influence.
- Customer focused.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Streaming media industry experience.
The hiring range for this remote position is $134,600 to $148,100 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
