JOB SUMMARY:*
Assist in the training of new team members on the production floor. This role will work a split shift, 9am – 5pm, and provide on the job training to team members in both the 1st and 2nd shift. Daily assignments will be split between making rounds spot checking operators and specific requests for training by manager. The trainer will answer operator questions and check on the operator and product being built to make sure the proper process is being followed.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Training:

• Train employees to process documents.
• Provide specific skill training.
• Train employees on how to complete paperwork required for job documentation.
• EPICOR job function training.

*
Collaboration:*

• Collaborate with area supervisors to maintain proper communication.
• Mentor employees on achieving TAKT times.
• Mentor employees First Articles process and procures.
• Working with management team in meeting production goals.
• Answering employee questions and providing guidance on best production practices.

Safety:*

• Ensure employees are following proper safety procedures.
• Ensure employees are following 5s/6s program.
• Ensure proper ESD training and understanding by employees.

Quality:*

• Ensure employees complete all quality required training.
• Enforce quality standards.

Physical Requirements:*
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:*
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Understanding of EPICOR tasks required by operators.
• General understanding of processes within facility.
• Experience in multiple areas a plus.
• Patient.
• Approachable.
• Good at providing instruction for new team members.
• Flexible to meet changing training needs.
• Prompt and regular attendance and a professional attitude.
