ICG Technology has an established Cross Asset Regulatory Programs (CARP) team to improve delivery of regulatory programs that involve multiple ICG lines of Business and Risk, Finance or Compliance. Currently, the team oversees a portfolio of regulatory programs and is responsible for the delivery of a subset of Consent Order Initiatives. The team is an integral component of Citi’s delivery mechanism for regulatory programs.
Job Description:
The ICG Technology Regulatory Program Management Lead will be responsible for oversight and governance of regulatory programs that involve multiple Institutional Clients Group (ICG) lines of business and require partnership with Risk, Finance and Compliance. The role will ensure that Business, Operations and Technology requirements are sufficiently integrated and implemented for regulatory programs to continuously improve delivery quality.
Key Objectives Include:
- Enabling robust governance and associated reporting for a subset of ICG O&T Initiatives focused on regulatory commitments.
- Working with Technology Sponsors and PMs to highlight RAID & continuously seek ways to ensure subset of ICG O&T Initiatives meet Deliverable standards.
- Monitoring and substantiating program issue log, facilitating program schedule targeting and key milestones.
- Presenting ad hoc governance and reporting updates to senior leadership.
- Escalating Risks / Issues in senior scheduled governance forums to expedite resolution.
- Driving the delivery of subset of ICG O&T Initiatives to enable the ICG to meet its commitments to the FRB & OCC.
- Working with Sponsors and workstream leads team to track resourcing and key program contacts.
- Identifying and managing Impacts & Dependencies across ICG Operations and Technology workstreams to ensure complete and timely delivery of regulatory commitments.
- Proactively monitoring ICG O&T performance against Program key performance and risk indicators.
- Working with ICG senior management to ensure proper funding when necessary.
- Utilizing and operating business intelligence tools for subset of ICG O&T Initiatives, capable of reporting enhancement.
- Building relationships with key ICG, Finance, Risk, Compliance, CDO and Internal Audit stakeholders.
- Working with ICG workstream leads to prepare project plans, resource plans and financial plans
- Partnering and establishing relationships with 3rd party service providers.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:
- 15+ years of professional work experience, with a significant component of this within financial services
- 10+ years of Program and Project management experience
- Experience working on Regulatory Programs is required
- Experience running a Regulatory PMO is preferred
- Program/project management certifications is a plus
- Operations & Technology or In-Business Risk & Controls experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Banking / Institutional Clients Group (ICG) products
- Senior stakeholder management experience required
