Location: HSC Campus in Oklahoma City, Stephenson Cancer Center's Restaurant, The Healthy Hearth, located at, 800 NE 10th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104

Hours: 8 hour shift between 7:00am - 4:00pm

Job Details: Title: Cashier

POSITION INFORMATION: Ensures customers receive excellent customer service, which includes but not limited to greeting customers as they enter the establishment, processing customer orders, and notifying other staff of any special requests. Receives payment, processes incoming cash receipts, and ensures accuracy by verifying account balances, deposits, and entries. Records amounts received and prepares reports of transactions.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

1. Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits

2. Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers

3. Greets customers entering establishment. Assists customers by providing information and resolving their complaints

4. Operates a cash register, totals and balances and daily transactions, may deposit and entry transactions

5. Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning and ending of shift to ensure that amounts are correct and there is adequate change.

6. Performs related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill function of the position.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• High School diploma or GED

Experience:

• 6 months cashier or related accounting experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ ABILITIES/AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:

• Working knowledge of 10-key, cash register
• Ability to solve problems using basic math
• Ability to assist customers
• Excellent verbal and written skills
