Job Description
Position Summary:
The Sales Associate reports directly to the Store/Visitor Services Director. The Sales Associate is responsible for all sales activities at Gilcrease’s temporary retail location at the Shops at Mother Road Market, including greeting customers, answering questions, suggesting items, providing product information, interacting with visitors in the adjoining gallery space, and assisting in the execution of on-site events/programs. Individual responsibilities include demonstrating outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping the sales floor and gallery space clean and stocked with merchandise and supplies, addressing customer needs, assisting in the display of merchandise, and processing merchandise and membership sales transactions. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, prompt, able to work independently, possesses solid problem-solving and time-management skills and has an interest in art, museums, and the Tulsa community.
This is a temporary part-time (up to 20 hours per week) position, through December 31, 2022.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; must have previous retail/cash handling experience or similar experience; available to work a variety of hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings; proficient in verbal and written English language, proficiency in Spanish a plus.

Physical Demands
Working Hours:
Approximately 14-20 hours per week. Store hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 11am-6pm and Sundays 12pm-6pm. Occasional evening hours possible.
