Job description
The Title Resolution Center Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional service to our auction partners and their sellers and buyers. The primary responsibility is to work title issues via a ticketing system until resolutions. This includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge on vehicle title laws while also resolving title issues with the correct regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate for this role has a winning attitude, outstanding listening skills, and phenomenal communication skills, both verbally and written.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handle assigned title issues based on a ticket system by working closely with sellers, buyers, and auction until issues are resolved.
- Make and receive necessary phone calls
- Communicate via email to and from dealers in a timely manner
- Develop a thorough understanding of Kinetic Advantage policies, processes, and procedures relative to assigned areas, and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
- Apply experience and lessons-learned to create or modify work methods related to the ticket system and resolution guidelines
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years related experience processing titles at an automobile dealership, used car auction, or the Bureau of Motor Vehicles specifically handling or reading titles required
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to earn trust and build relationships over the phone and email effectively communicating and exchanging information with a wide diversity of individuals nationwide.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must be knowledgeable about current title laws and restrictions across the United States as they relate to vehicle titles
- Exceptional problem-solving skills including the ability to ask probing questions to deeply understand the needs of our dealer partners
- Robust time management skills and attention to detail coupled with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Professional maturity to handle sensitive information and situations with tact and discretion
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and, at times, stressful environment
- Bilingual preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to communicate clearly
- Ability to operate computer and office equipment, and move about an office environment
- Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
