Production Trainer

General Summary: The role of a trainer is to develop a competency and skill sets in an individual to perform his / her tasks effectively in the work place. Create documentation signed by trainee, trainer, and supervisor agreeing the individual has completed training. As well as understands and is capable of performing job duties correctly, safely and in the time frame required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)
Applies knowledge and company policies to complete and train other employees on designated tasks.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility.
Works with the customer on site to coordinate audits, rejections, and required projects
Assists with on-boarding new hires and help them assimilate with the current team

Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues.

May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments

Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works with limited supervision
Work involves review of output by team members.
Provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
Must have a flexible work schedule to accommodate training needs

Accountabilities:
Responsible for site training for all Inbound and Outbound shifts
Track and monitor loads that are returned and coordinate with the customer on site to resolve it a timely manner
When not training,
perform other duties as assigned.
Learn and train on all functions within the warehouse
Be willing to train during the shift hours for new employees for at least 2 weeks
Create documentation to support training is complete
Maintain records of proof of training and Safety awareness

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

New hire retention rate.
PCP Certification penetration
CHEP Quality Audit results
Repairman daily output average
Forklift Operator Production.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Must be Bilingual
Minimum High school diploma or GED
Proficient in Microsoft office
Good oral and written communication skills
