Responsibilities:
  • Conducts training and development programs for employees and maintains documentation of training received
  • Plans, directs, and/or coordinates the training and development activities of the assigned service site(s)
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred
  • One year experience delivering various training topics to various audiences
  • Some supervisory experience preferred

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
  • COORDINATE ALL ASPECTS OF EMPLOYEE TRAINING FOR RESCARE, MN—ST. PAUL
  • CONDUCT ALL, NON-MEDICAL, CLASSROOM TRAINING FOR MN-ST PAUL OPERATIONS
  • SCHEDULE, COORDINATE, TRACK, REPORT ALL EMPLOYEE TRAININGS
  • COORDINATE WITH HUMAN RESOURCES AND PROGRAM MANAGERS TO ENSURE NEW HIRES COMPLETE REQUIRED ORIENTATION AND ALL EMPLOYEES COMPLETE REQUIRED ANNUAL TRAINING
  • TRACK AND REPORT EMPLOYEE TRAINING VIOLATIONS TO HUMAN RESOURCES AND PROGRAM MANAGERS
  • ENSURE OPERATIONAL QUALITY/COMPLIANCE ACCORDING TO “BEST IN CLASS” STANDARDS
  • DATA ENTRY, TRACKING, REPORTING
  • ENSURE TRAININGS/CONTENT MEET LICENSING AND REGULATORY STANDARDS
  • COORDINATE SCHEDULING CLASSROOM TRAINING WITH NURSING DEPT
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS: VERBAL, WRITTEN, ELECTRONIC
  • ADULT-EDUCATION AND LARGE-GROUP PRESENTATION SKILLS
  • ADVANCED EXPERIENCE WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Publisher
  • CARETAKER OF SENSITIVE AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
  • CULTURAL COMPETENCY
  • EXPERIENCE MANAGING DATA BASES, CREATING/RUNNING REPORTS
  • TEAM PLAYER, SOLUTION-FOCUSED, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, HIGHLY ORGANIZED, TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS, SENSE OF HUMOR
  • WILLING and MOTIVATED TO WORK OUTSIDE OF INITIAL JOB DESCRIPTION
  • WILL BECOME A CERTIFIED FIRST AID/CPR INSTRUCTOR (company expense)

REQUIREMENTS

  • HS DIPLOMA, PREFER BA OR BS DEGREE
  • Minimum Typing 55 WPM
  • 3+ years in Human Services, Training, QA, and/or HR

Salary Range: USD $23.00 / Hour
