About The Position
The Training Project Manager works closely with Ameren leadership to manage and coordinate activities and resources to support high-impact training projects. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills and is passionate about training. In addition, he or she has experience in project management, facilitation, and learning outcomes.
* Hybrid role but will require heavy office presence*
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop project plans and lead the execution of complex projects for the Missouri Training Department.
- Develop measurement strategies to assess the impact and effectiveness of training initiatives
- Communicate project status reports for all training initiatives in development, lead status meetings with key stakeholders
- Assist in resourcing and organizing project activities
- Outline, define and track tasks and deliverables for all training initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and distribute Training, Marketing and Communications plans
- Track and manage all outsourced training projects
- Engage directly with leadership and management on strategy and/or key summaries on a tactical level within all work groups
- Keep project plans and statuses up to date
- Work closely with stakeholders, managers, instructional designers and developers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work breakdown structures, work plan and timing for training delivery
- Document and track all certifications and/or requirements for training staff (instructional designers, developers, trainers, leadership, etc.)
- Manage all equipment and resourcing needs for AMO Training
- Identify any training facility needs; create proposals to meet those needs; manage budgets and activities from inception to implementation
- Integrate and synthesize technical, substantive and contextual business information from multiple teams and resources to deliver easy-to-understand reports to measure training effectiveness
- Create and establish process for enhanced training evaluation based on Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Training Evaluation
- Develop strategies to support information requests for both internal and external customers
- Build, schedule, assemble and distribute routine data reports and ad hoc requests
- Create reporting and performance dashboard for each training area
- Create and maintain training completion reports for all required training
- Elicit report requirements, provide effective and accurate reporting solutions, and provide critical insights to training and business stakeholders
- Create and report on metrics that measure quality, satisfaction and effectiveness of all training efforts
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required. Five or more years of relevant experience required (e.g., project management, training development and/or delivery, training systems). Experience creating and maintaining reports and documentation for training projects required.
Nine years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of required Bachelor's degree.
