Senior Accountant/Treasury Analyst to join our team in
Richland, Mississippi (Jackson).
Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant/Treasury Analyst will be responsible for performing a variety treasury functions in compliance with company procedures, reporting on daily cash position, applying principles of accounting to record and analyze financial transactions, and filing monthly sales tax returns. This position will have a variety of other tasks within the accounting department as well.

Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant/Treasury Analyst will be responsible for performing a variety treasury functions in compliance with company procedures, reporting on daily cash position, applying principles of accounting to record and analyze financial transactions, and filing monthly sales tax returns. This position will have a variety of other tasks within the accounting department as well.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for forecasting the daily cash position, ensuring completion of all authorized disbursements, processing wires in accordance with company policy, transferring of funds between accounts, and monitoring of treasury functions
- Recording, analyzing, and interpreting financial transactions and communicating results to management
- Routine monitoring and reconciliation of floorplan financing to assure compliance is maintained
- Preparing state and local tax compliance including reviewing purchases for compliance with sales and use tax requirements
- Reconciling general ledger account balances
- Makes recommendations to management for process improvements and problem resolution
- Performs additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in accounting or related degree is required
- One to three years of related accounting work experience is preferred
- CPA or CPA eligible is preferred
- Excellent organizational, computer, and communication skills are required
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite
