We are seeking a part-time typist with 1-2 years experience. The hours vary from 32-40 a week. Hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

• MUST type 70 wpm or above
• Ability to speak, write, and understand fluent English.
• Computer (Windows) and word processing (Word).
• Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Transcribe dictation.
• Type medical reports, correspondence, and records.
• Return dictated reports in printed form for review, signature, and corrections.
• Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
• Ability to work with interruptions and to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Must be punctual.
