The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus.

This position is part of the primary care clinical care team at Health Services, serving as a staff physician to provide patient care through diagnosis and treatment of a variety of illnesses and injuries in a college/university population. Staff physicians are credentialed and privileged to perform their duties according to Health Services policies and procedures. This individual will function as a member of the provider staff to provide both routine general medical treatments and assessments, as well as perform minor non-invasive procedures as needed. This position will also serve as consultative resource for the other members of the medical staff, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Minimum Qualifications

Education:
  • A Medical degree and board certified or eligible.
Experience:
  • One or more years’ experience in clinical medicine, primary care is preferred.
License:
  • Be duly licensed, or eligible to be licensed by the State of North Carolina.
