Upstream Product Manager

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

· Leads upstream development marketing efforts including developing and implementing upstream marketing strategies, processes, and tools.

· Responsible for leading efforts in identification and quantification of business opportunities by working with surgeons, stakeholders, R&D, clinical, marketing, sales, and management.

· Serves as marketing and business project representative on development teams through product development and commercialization. Responsible for final product quality and forecasts.

· Works in a global team environment to launch new products, expand indications, and establishing supporting evidence for market adoption.

· Strong contributor to the development and execution of PolyNovo’s innovation pipeline..

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop a strategy that highlights opportunities to build and strengthen our future portfolio pipeline.

· Partner with Director of Marketing and other stakeholders to build internal upstream capabilities through adoption of new processes and tools.

· Partner with regional marketers across the world to gather insights and considerations about future product and portfolio opportunities.

· Collaborates with members of R&D, Clinical, and the Commercial organization to identify opportunities for portfolio expansion.

· Leads cross functional teams through opportunity identification and quantification exercises.

· Builds the business case for next-generation programs and presents to senior management for investment and prioritization.

· Identifies market research needs and works with customer insights team to collect voice of customer feedback utilizing multiple methodologies.

· Works closely with physician customers to better understand needs and solicit concept feedback. Facilitates customer meetings and advisory board discussions.

· Owns all marketing deliverables for assigned early-stage development program(s), including opportunity assessments, claims matrices, and financial model inputs.

· Partners with Clinical, Regulatory, Engineering, Operations, Human Factors Engineering, Research, and other critical functions during the product development process as a project team member.

· Contributes to the annual strategic planning process.

· Develops and delivers executive-level presentations to PolyNovo leadership and customers.

· Exercises superior judgment in planning, organizing and executing work; monitors performance and reports program status.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
