The Valve Assembly Technician will work with the Operations and Service teams to produce high-quality hydraulic power units and other assemblies for our customer base. We are seeking candidates that can use technical drawings, written and verbal instructions to layout and fabricate custom projects.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Assembly and testing of hydraulic components through SYSTEC+ or with the use of build sheets.
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic components (when required).
- Setting up and running performance tests, pumps, motors and valves on the hydraulic test bench.
- Ability to learn Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic components (when required).
- Engraving new model code plates for newly assembled and/or repaired components.
- Supporting the company with a positive attitude and working with customers as needed.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and housekeeping of the assembly areas.
- Minimal travel required to customer site and/or for corporate learning (Germany or Charlotte, NC).

Job Requirements – A qualified candidate must possess the following skills:
- Must have a strong knowledge of mechanics and their operations
- Must be able to read and understand hydraulic schematics and blueprints
- Must have a strong knowledge of mechanics and their operations
- Basic computer (Windows-based) skills and MS Office package
- Good organizational skills
- Good problem-solving and reasoning skills
- Must be a self-starter with determination to provide quality service
Preferred Skills:
- 2+ years of valve assembly experience
- 2+ years of engraving and using codes
- Hydraulics knowledge and understanding
- Fluid Power education or knowledge
