VHIO Student Volunteer Program
Who we are: La Clínica de La Raza is a community-based health center committed to providing culturally appropriate, high-quality, and accessible health care to the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Role Responsibilities:
- Accompany physician during patient consultations and assisted in recording patient history and physical exam findings into the electronic medical record
- Organize and transcribe results for patients' laboratory tests, medications and imaging studies
- Document procedures completed and recorded diagnostic test results
- Document all diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, and discharge and follow-up information
- Bilingual proficiency in one of the following languages:
- Spanish
- Mandarin
- Cantonese
- Arabic
