Overview:
Purpose: The VP ERP Services leads the IT functions responsible for strategy, design, support, implementation, and ongoing improvement of ERP and related business applications supporting Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Sales & Commercial Development, and Operations. The VP ERP Services functions as a conduit between business leadership and the IT organization, ensuring business priorities are well understood and that IT resources are aligned to support those priorities. The VP ERP Services is responsible for planning and executing the smooth migration of acquired business to Berry ERP and related systems. - Plan and oversee the migration of acquired businesses to Berry ERP and related business systems
- Plan and administer the design, configuration, deployment, and continuous improvement of IT systems supporting Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Sales & Commercial Development, and Operations
- Collaborate with the CIO and peers on IT Leadership Team to develop, establish, communicate, and drive execution of the Berry IT strategic plan
- Remain familiar with relevant regulatory, governmental, company, and best practice guidelines in order to assure compliance and quality service delivery from the ERP Services department
- Provide leadership, vision, strategic planning, direction and mentorship to ERP Services team members
- Review justifications, specifications, and negotiate computer software and services procurement related to ERP systems
- Collaborate with peers on IT Leadership team to manage, develop, document, test and revise as necessary the disaster recovery and business continuity plans for ERP and related services
- Develop activities, policies, procedures, and departmental culture that facilitate, promote, and sustain collaboration and excellence in ERP Services department
- Oversee the development, documentation, and implementation of internal control procedures to ensure fiscal, regulatory, confidentiality, and security accountability
- Assist the CIO with development of IT strategic and operational plans
- Responsible for ERP Services departmental budget planning, justification, documentation, and control
- As delegated, assume the duties of the CIO when necessary
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of seven to ten years experience in a combination of IT / business analyst roles and/or roles in supported functions such as Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Sales & Commercial Development, and Operations
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related discipline. MBA preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in executive-level presentations including large-group presentations and executive writing skills.
- Ability to write, interpret, adapt, and apply broad policy and direction to a variety of frequently complex situations affecting the over-all organization
- 2+ years of people leadership demonstrating the ability to share a vision and motivate teams to deliver.
- 2-5 years of project management experience including demonstrable analytical skills, timeline management and the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives
- 2-5 years of direct experience in merger and acquisition integration
- 2-5 years of experience with contract and vendor negotiations
- High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision while being resilient to change
- Demonstrated competency managing competing business priorities and limited resources to ensure the most important projects are delivered
- Ability to communicate and present at the senior leadership level
- An understanding of the dependencies and relationships between various business applications within the organization
- Ability to lead others through ambiguity and change. The right candidate would be able to see the possibilities and help other see it as well.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel domestically to various company locations
