Vat19 is currently in search of an insanely-talented video production specialist.

Located in Maryland Heights, Missouri, Vat19 is an innovative media company that features a popular YouTube channel (8.7 million subscribers) as well as an e-commerce shop which showcases nearly 1,000 “curiously awesome” products.

You will be working in St. Louis’ largest production soundstage (over 6,600 square feet of shooting space) featuring a 180-degree cyclorama, 17-foot-high fully dimmable grid, and nine built-in sets plus an array of high-end production equipment.

Working with a team 12 other creatives (including four other directors), you will help shoot dozens of both long and short form content each month. These are creative, funny, unique and engaging videos that are produced collaboratively and will be seen by a huge audience. And because we are our own client, we are able to work quickly and freely.

You must have a background in video production and the ability to learn new skills quickly. If you already think of yourself as a video Swiss army knife, you may be the right person for this job.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Creative thinker, “whatever it takes” attitude, and self-motivated
• Ability to light a wide variety of scenes including tabletop, portrait, and large sets
• Some experience in set dressing/art direction
• Understands traditional narrative filmmaking
• Experience with multi-camera shoots, gimbals, sliders, and drones

If you do not yet possess all of the skills listed above, don't worry! We've helped many filmmakers expand their toolset. We look for applicants with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of filmmaking, an enthusiasm for their craft, a great work ethic, and a desire to improve.

Educational requirement: Bachelor’s Degree

Compensation: Salary commensurate with skill level and experience

Availability: Immediate.
