Position Summary:

The Videographer plays an active role through each stage of a video production, including research, ideation, pitching, pre-production, filming, and post-production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Play an active role through each stage of a video production, including research, ideation, pitching, pre-production, filming, and post-production.
• Produce fresh, innovative, and quality work that translates complex ideas into compelling videos from concept and storyboarding to editing and post-production.
• Shoot and edit a variety of video styles (product, lifestyle, interview, social media, digital series) both in the field and in office with existing material.
• Understanding of current social media trends and how they apply to video and sound by platform
• Meet with internal and external stakeholders to develop video concepts, storyboards, and scripts
• Work with the marketing team to identify key areas and opportunities to bring brands to life through creative video work. You will support the direction of the brand and overall strategic objectives
• Working within established brand guidelines and templates with accuracy and attention to detail under deadlines.
• Organize video/photo shoots, get production setup for those shoots including props, and location scouting within budget.
• Managing multiple video projects at once and ensuring they are being delivered on time.
• Communicating with the marketing team on updates and status reports.
• Shooting live events when needed.
• Work within internal content management system while using best practices for editing and content storage.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience with capture and editing in fast-paced environments, such as agencies, media, or design studios.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly think through the objective of a creative brief and edit accordingly
• Proficiency with video equipment and editing software: Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder
• Experience with operating cameras, filming, and editing
• Lighting and audio capturing capabilities
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail including experience with project management software
• A natural storyteller with strong interview and research capabilities
• Ability to deliver on-brand content under a deadline
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices
• Highly creative and imaginative approach to work
• Enjoys a wide variety of video projects, from social media content production to documentary style storytelling
• Photography experience preferred
• Interactive media to create motion graphics and animation
• Understanding of video performance and optimization in different channels
• Must provide a link to a video portfolio/reel of work and photography examples

Education

AAS/BS from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience

Travel:

• This full-time position is based at our headquarters in Roswell, GA.
• Frequent domestic travel to live events and more, including on weekends occasionally, will be required to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
