Videographer- Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, WA

As a videographer for Homes.com (a subsidiary of CoStar Group) you'll be part of a team crafting stories that give home buyers a street-level window into the lifestyle and vibe of neighborhoods throughout the country as they shop for their new home. And you're helping agents grow their business by connecting with new clients.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a critical thinker and a creative problem solver. You'll draw on experience in documentary-style storytelling, commercial shoots, and marketing content to create engaging, persuasive, and entertaining visuals for all corners of Homes.com. Multiple rounds of changes and feedback are part of the job, so adaptability is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates video cameras in the production of professional pre-recorded content.

• Ability to travel within territory markets or in studio to capture interviews and story-telling B-roll.

• Transports, set up/break down, and operate production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment.

• Work collaboratively to develop ideas with other members of the Homes.com’s video content team, stakeholders, brand, producers, vendors, etc to establish project goals.

• Pre-production (location scouting, preparing for on-camera interviews, equipment maintenance, etc.)

• Capable of meeting tight deadlines and quickly turning around high-end video content.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years’ experience as a videographer/director of photography at a cable network, brand, or creative agency.

• Ability to work with mirrorless/dslr, cinema cameras, field recorders using boom and wireless microphones, three-point lighting with continuous LED kits, and proper asset management.

• Ability to work with h.264, ProRes, and various raw codecs.

• Successful at managing multiple projects at one time.

• Proven ability to frame shots and capture high quality audio.

• Skilled using Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Audition, Media Encoder.

• Self-motivated, resourceful, and detail oriented.

• Excellent communicator who can clearly explain project needs to internal stakeholders and vendors.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
