Discipline: Media Partnerships & Technology

Role Purpose: VP, Addressable Media Partnerships leads integration with our partners across our M1 technology suite in support of dentsu Media US agencies (Carat, dentsuX and iProspect). The VP will develop key partnership agreements with top suppliers across media channels & formats such as Video & Display and across technologies like DSPs & SSPs. This role will be a critical component in implementing and scaling innovative strategies that deliver measurable client value. In this role, the VP will be expected to maintain a thorough understanding of the M1 product suite, possess the requisite technical & operations background to drive integration components, and demonstrate an organized nature to propel those around them in legal & technology positions to move swiftly. As a role that touches several capabilities within dentsu – from technology, to media investment, trading and planning/strategy – an ability to work with multiple stakeholders to create ‘win wins’ for all will be key. This role will be expected to provide ongoing feedback to senior management on status and priority as well as to future-proof dentsu’ business by building innovative partnerships with key vendors.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop partnerships with prioritized list of partners currently called PAM (Publisher addressable marketplace)
  • Be seen as an integrator both internally and externally driving partners and maintaining on-time engagement across several variables
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify new partnership opportunities to strengthen relationships with key vendors, anticipating critical needs of our business
  • Proactively seek out solutions to key business challenges in the course of daily work
  • Own and lead relationships, distributing pertinent information to management where needed
  • Maintain an ongoing list of internal stakeholders needing key information, create an organized shared space for easy access to key details
  • Develop superior rapport with the legal & technology constituents across Merkle
  • Work collaboratively to manage priorities across the business
  • Drive standards of excellence and consistency across managed team
  • Consistent communication and organization of key partnership information to teams and management to capture all the nuanced detail of these commercial agreements and keep on track for deal progression
  • Maintain understanding of our business and clients
  • Manage product integration roadmaps and ensure timely completion, acting as liaison between vendor and Merkury developers
  • Work across several scaled services and legal in order to implement vendor contracts
  • Understanding of first party identify framework
  • Experience working with 3rd party on-boarders
  • Liase and partner with Product organization to facilitate partnership development and maintenance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10-12 years’ experience within the digital industry as a partnership or investment lead at a reputable agency or partner. DSP, SSP, Technology Enablement & Operations experience preferred.
  • Experience with management of a team- with the skills to lead a highly successful team
  • Consistent exceptional project management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and analytical skills; must be comfortable working with and presenting sophisticated metrics to C-level
  • Ability to retain professionalism in all situations
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to project management and follow-through
  • Proactive work ethic; solutions orientated with strong critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills
  • A dynamic, self-motivated, high-energy team player who can wear many hats to get the job done, comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Experience working with business applications; MS Office Suite required

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $113,000-$174,500. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company’s incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
