Position Overview
The VP, Enterprise Project Management is responsible for partnering with senior leadership to drive enterprise level, cross functional strategic projects to completion and optimize highest value venue and production processes. The VP, Enterprise Project Management will also ensure quality planning and delivery of strategic initiatives including creating roadmap, and ensuring execution readiness and roll-out plans. Additionally, the VP of Enterprise Project Management will assist the executive team in developing a full inventory of in-process cross-functional projects and in prioritizing organizational resources against those representing the highest value to Encore. This position will lead a team that will support and lead strategic projects as well as map and optimize key operational processes. The VP, Enterprise Project Management and the team will lead 4 – 5 highest value strategic projects at any given time. Given the visibility of the projects management, this leader will have significant interaction with the executive leadership team. The VP, Project Management will report directly to the Senior Vice President, International and Center of Excellence.
Key Job Responsibilities
Cross-functional, Enterprise Strategic Projects
- Partner with executive team to develop inventory of all in-process and requested enterprise projects.
- Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to drive effective and timely execution of projects.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, leaders, and team members so that issues are surfaced and resolved.
- Recommend prioritization of organizational resources based on highest value opportunities.
- Support project owners and stakeholders to develop project plans, milestones, risk, and contingency plans.
- Lead team that will support project owners to develop and deliver on milestones required for completion.
- Engage executive team to marshal support and remove barriers required for project success.
- Regularly liaise with top executive leadership team to report out and enterprise project progress and re-deploy resources as required based on highest level needs.
Operational Process Optimization
- Partner with operations leaders to define the top [20 – 25] value driving operational processes.
- Drive cross-functional team to develop best practice approach to each of these processes.
- Partner with Center of Excellence leaders and field leadership to drive full adherence to best practice approach as defined and developed.
- Build mechanisms to continuously improve processes in ongoing manner.
- Define key metrics and performance indicators to track projects and ensure success.
Reporting
- Develop and measure standards and KPIs to improve the PMO team’s efficiency and productivity.
- Responsible for appropriate FinOps data and present/provide monthly updates.
- Responsible for the Op Planning for owned department.
Leadership and Team Development
- Build team that will lead and support both project management and operations excellence.
- Develop talent to realize full potential, serve as potential successors, and / or take on leadership roles elsewhere around Encore.
- Initial team likely 2 – 3 FTEs in year one and 4 – 5 in steady-state.
Job Qualifications
- 10+ years of Project Management experience
- 7+ years of people leadership experience
- 3+ years of top-tier Consulting experience (post-MBA) preferred, though not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence key stakeholders
- Eagerness to “roll-up-the-sleeves” and drive projects to completion
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Positive approach to teamwork and problem solving
- Works well under pressures and effectively manages project deadlines
- Ability to direct and motivate others toward the organization’s goals
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate information, reconcile conflicts and understand root cause and impact.

Office
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
