Valplastic USA LLC is a growing company and well known in the Irrigation Industry with over 100 distributors in the USA and Canada.

This is a hands-on entry level position for coordinating various aspects of shipping and receiving and no prior experience is needed but a desire to learn. This is also a hands-on job with opportunity to learn how a small business is run, shipping, receiving, ordering and some aspects of billing and customer service. All training will be provided to the right person who is interested to learn and progress. No specific experience is necessary but a keen desire to learn, excel and grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enjoy a good mix of warehouse and office works including speaking with customers and vendors. Estimated 40% warehouse work and 60% office work.
• Take cycle counts and help in managing inventory. Learn to speak and manage vendor relationship as you grow.
• Also learn an easy software to enter data and print documents.
• Learning to drive forklift if not trained and and getting forklift certification if not currently certified will be necessary. It is occasionally used. Expenses for training and certification will be paid by Valplastic.
• Maintaining Warehouse and working area clean and safe on a regular basis.
• Speaking with customers and vendors as needed.

Required Skills:

• Experience of using personal computer

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent, Associate degree would be preferred.

Desired Experience:

• Some knowledge of warehouse operations will be helpful but not required.
• Working as a Customer Service coordinator and maintaining supply-chain relationship would help.
• Ability and desire to work with numbers in a retail/wholesale environment
• Ability and desire to work in an office and warehouse as required.
• Some exposure to UPS shipping would help but not necessary.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Words.

Benefits: Health Insurance contribution, Disability insurance, Employee discount, Holidays, Vacations, and matching retirement contribution. Bonus pay after 3 months. Benefits are allowed after 3-months of probationary period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
