SUMMARY OF POSITION

This position is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing of product for delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials needed; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. 1. Unload raw materials from truck and move raw materials to warehouse storage. 2. Responsible for quality control. Make sure no damaged product is sent out and no damaged raw material is accepted in. 3. Operate forklift and delivery of materials towing 24’ trailer with a pickup truck. 4. Stock and maintain warehouse inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed. 5. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs). 6. Communicate with operators from other shifts. 7. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use. 8. Safely operating 4’-10’ manual breaker, 48” stomp shear, manual and electric slip rollers, band saw, and Pittsburg machine. 9. Safely working with hand tools including, but not limited to; saw, drill, snips, blower, vacuum, bander, crimper, blade, hammer, etc. 10. Cut and fabricate miscellaneous types of metal. 11. Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat. Required to regularly sweep, and dust. 12. Wear the proper safety equipment at all times. 13. Maintain and follow safe work standards. 14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience • High school diploma or GED required. • 1-3 years of warehouse experience is a plus. Language Skills • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery. The candidate will be required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Will be frequently required to stand, walk, squat, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as moderately hot or cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises. Work environment also involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
