Responsibilities:

• Trains, develops, and oversees warehouse staff at Stockton facility. Conducts regular on-time performance appraisals and gives continuous performance feedback and corrective/disciplinary actions, when appropriate.
• Monitors inventory levels, and cycle counts and aids in preparation of monthly inventory process.
• Oversees warehouse shipping functions: Schedules pick-up appointments, contacts carriers, checks transit times and verifies outbound loads for accuracy.
• Using ingredient lot code, follows "first-in/first-out" (FIFO) procedures in the warehousing and transportation of product.
• Establishes shipping/trucking schedules and ensures all shipments are accurate, on time, and meet the standards of DOT, GMP, and HACCP regulations to ensure non-conforming products are not released. Responsible for documentation of all.
• Assigns daily jobs, carries out corrective actions, ensures staff has appropriate tools and training to be successful.
• Is able to carry out all shipping and forklift operator responsibilities.
• Resolves discrepancies with invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. Monitors the flow of paperwork from receiving to appropriate departments for timely data entry.
• Ensures the safe and proper operations of forklift operators
• Ensures all incoming and outgoing raw materials are received, stored and shipped in accordance with company standards set for food safety, quality and security.
• Ensures GMP/HACCP policies and procedures are followed and that food safety practices are internalized as a way of doing everyday business.
• Ensures the warehouse equipment is operating in a safe and efficient manner.
• Promotes positive employee relations through effective conflict management and issue resolution.
• Responsible for the safety, cleanliness and proper opening and closing of the warehouse.
• Participates fully in the location's Safety Committee representing the Stockton warehouse.
• Monitors all forklifts for required maintenance and arranges scheduled repairs once repair costs have been approved by the Warehouse Manager or Bakery Director.
• Reviews production schedules, materials, and manpower resources and ensures all are sufficient to meet production goals.
• Adjusts schedules of employees in order to maximize production objectives, maintain quality, and meet output goals.
• Ensures that established timekeeping policies and procedures are followed by reviewing and approving employee time records in a timely manner by publishing weekly employee schedules and documents employee leave requests.
• Supports and participates in special projects as assigned.
• Conducts and supervises the material planning for the bakery production from Rialto.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and two-way communication with co-workers and other personnel throughout the Company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or other senior leader in the ASPIRE BAKERIES organization.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 5 years of manufacturing/warehouse environment
• English & Spanish Reading, Writing, Conversing
• SAP, Microsoft Office Applications

Salary Range
: $60,000-75,000

Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
