SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The warehouse supervisor's responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of material, and preparing relevant documentation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities
  • Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity
  • Coordinate daily workload between the available resources
  • Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation
  • Ensure all procedures are followed by all processing personnel
  • Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Ensure adequate hands on training of new employees, retraining and cross training of existing personnel to allow for a flexible workforce and opportunities for advancement
  • Data collection and reporting
  • Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse areas
  • Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers
  • Coordinating and maintaining equipment
  • Coordinate vacations of direct reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned
SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS (List specific skills required but not defined in Dimensions)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience supervising
  • Strong computer skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent attendance
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Forklift certified, experience with machinery
  • Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures
  • Communication, instruction and leadership skills to direct the work of others
