Wealth Planning Associate / Associate Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA)

This significant role specializes in creating financial plans for clients, including collaboration with the Wealth Management Advisor on both development and monitoring of the plan to deliver a comprehensive client solution. Responsibilities of our AWMA/Service Advisor
- Workflow Manager: coordinate team, bringing the pieces of the plan together for a client-ready presentation
- Delegate creation of first draft of financial plan/investment proposal to appropriate team members, then review & adjust prior to finalizing and assigning to WMA for final review
- Create custom analyses of financial decisions, perform research (economy, financial markets, individual securities, mutual funds) of investments/equity compensation clients currently hold and provide strategic guidance/recommendations to the WMA
- Delegate insurance/investments admin to appropriate team member and ensure tasks are completed and proper client follow up takes place. Portfolio analysis and monitoring, tax gain/loss analysis with developing and executing appropriate trading strategies
- Administrative and operational responsibilities: data input CRM, tracking metrics, liaise with other team members to assist, participate in team meetings
- Client interaction: take the lead on answering routine client questions and service request, offer strategic advice on insurance products, investment allocation/strategy and general financial planning topics
- Join WMA in all client review meetings as an opportunity to meet the client, learn and follow up post-meeting with all action items internally and email confirmation of next steps and objectives to client
- Maintain strong compliance documentation related to research, trading and client interactions
AWMA/Service Advisor: Education and Experience
- Undergraduate degree is required, preferably in financial services/wealth management or business
- 2-4 years of full-time work experience in the financial services/wealth management field is a must
- CFP® designation is required
- FINRA: Must have a Series 7, also 63 or 66
- Life, Accident & Health Insurance License, or ability to achieve within 90-days of hire
