- Conducts and creates safe group and individual exercises with in strength, balance and movement on land and in the pool.
- Assists independent, assisted living and skilled nursing residents on mobility, balance, range of motion.
- Instructs on the correct use of all exercise equipment and provides support on and off equipment.
- Respects and observes residents’/members’ rights and privacy.
- Leads and organizes personal training sessions with Arcadia at Home members.
- Oversees the swimming pool and assists residents and members in and out of the pool safely.
- Obtains the proper release waivers and doctor's permission slips from residents.
- Charts resident and member wellness attendance, participation and progress.
- Performs the necessary pool maintenance duties when scheduled such as water quality testing and vacuuming.
- Maintains the Wellness Center in a clean and organized condition.
- Performs the necessary duties for emergency drills and situations such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Manual.
- Ensures departmental compliance with corporate, state, and federal safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by the Arcadia Family of Companies.

- Acts as a resource person to all staff regarding Arcadia Community Services’ policies and procedures and strives for adherence.
- Uses standard office equipment, including a computer, printer, telephone, calculator, copier and shredder.
- Identifies and articulates subjects and issues. Provide suggestions and recommendations that are realistic and practical towards resolution or completion.
- Courteously and professionally works with staff and vendors to resolve problems.
- Analyze problems and develop strategies for resolution.
- Air conditioned office environment;

- Hazardous materials.
