Wine Server

Shady Creek Winery – Business Overview

Shady Creek Winery is telling a new story about wine in America in a fun and approachable way. We produce over 28 different wines, including Sweet, Sparkling, Dry White and Dry Red Wines. We focus on a wine experience where guests can taste various varietals and styles of wine. Our goal is to combine first class wine and food in the heart of the Midwest to introduce or further enhance a love of wine to our guests. We do this by producing wines from grapes grown in their favorite regions. For example, we make a Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa County, CA, while our Pinot Grigio hails from Baroda, MI, only 25 minutes from our home in Michigan City, IN. We focus on fun and relaxation over most else, and have a loyal group of team members, Wine Club members, and regular guests which make our winery a unique gem.

Job Responsibilities

Dependability & Reliabilit

  • Pouring & Selling Wine
  • Wine Club Membership growth and service
  • Provide outstanding customer experience
  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Provide bar and/or table service to guests
  • Be knowledgeable of the Shady Creek wine catalogue
  • Make recommendations based on customer preferences
  • Provide responsible alcohol service

Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of beverage serving experience in an upscale establishment.

Adhere to Shady Creek Winery Policy and Procedures

Must currently have a Liquor Server Permit or ability to apply & obtain one immediately.
