The role of a market research interviewer is currently being filled by GDCC. At $10.50 per hour, it is a part-time job. The main responsibilities of the position include making outbound phone calls, reading a script verbatim, questioning respondents, and documenting their answers to open-ended or multiple-choice questions. The job also entails collecting survey data over the phone.

You'll conduct polls, client satisfaction surveys, and telephone interviews. Neither sales nor collections occurred at all! You need to be trustworthy and responsible (be your own boss). It is essential to have honesty and self-control.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities/Special Demands Required

• Extensive call center experience and customer-telephone service is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills both oral, written and communicate with call center management with great efficiency
• Must be accountable to consistently dial during your scheduled hours of dialing
• Great computer knowledge/data entry accuracy/strong keyboard ability
• Continuous availability, cooperation, motivation, working self-sufficiently with problem solving ability when problems arise
• Good comprehension of project briefing and ability to follow specific project instructions by reviewing briefing materials on the project assigned
• Maintains consistent professional, positive, upbeat attitude both on and off of the telephone
• Ability to sit in front of a PC monitor for extended periods of time
• Fluent English required and Spanish speaking, reading and translating is welcome. Fluency in other languages is a plus
• Must sound professional and confident with excellent voice and tone. For our business surveys and if have you have experience we offer higher pay for those who are able to get past gatekeepers (i.e., administrative secretaries, telephone receptionists with larger companies) using persuasive ability with the ultimate goal of getting an interview and complete surveys with the qualified business individual

Equipment & Technology Requirements

• Quiet-private-work space: professional office environment free from noise, distractions, pets, children and people related to background noises
• Home personal computer or laptop: Windows 10 or better required (Chromium aka Chrome browser required)
• High speed internet connection: 3.5mbs+ such as cable or fiber optic
• PC headset: interviewing telephone headset with noise-canceling microphone is required. This headset will connect directly to your PC via 3.5mm headphone jack or USB
• Instant message account. SKYPE is required
