Job Summary:
Responsible for providing intermediate level research and analytic skills including criteria-based evaluation of large qualitative data set, data collection and data entry. As part of a large curriculum mapping project within all four colleges this role requires communication and collaboration with faculty, as well as generation of a report with meaningful findings. Exemplifies the RUSH mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with RUSH policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Data Collection 80%

Collects and manages data about health equity in syllabi, in coordination with accreditation standards and health equity sensibilities
Accurately performs all data collection, data entry and data analysis to generate reports
Performs other research-related duties as requested including a review of best practices and national models

Administrative Functions: 20%

Regularly updates faculty researchers on progress
Works collaboratively with study team; schedules meetings with data collectors and/or faculty as needed
Generates report of findings; conducts library and database search for relevant articles to support findings of study as needed

Required Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred; Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered
Research related experience desirable
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to work efficiently, follow-through with assignments independently, excellent attention to detail as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and excellent communication skills is essential.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to use one's time efficiently with only minimal direction is essential.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

Knowledge of data recording and storage procedures in quantitative research projects. Familiarity with including experience with word processing software, spreadsheets and other data management software
Previous experience in qualitative field research projects.
