As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

**This is an hourly position and can be remote, but must work Pacific Time Zone hours. After hours maybe needed as necessary (upgrades, support, on call). Travel maybe required but would be limited.


As technology expert who doubles as a customer advocate, you will work closely with our client, a large healthcare organization with multiple hospitals and hundreds of clinics across 3 West Coast states, to solve their most intriguing problems. You will lead independent research and solution development and lend your expertise to various product areas. Internally, you will be the go-to person for expert advice on escalated issues.

Your Work:

  • Consulting with the client on current clinical documentation improvement (CDI) and coding workflow related to 3M’s Health Information System configuration
  • 3M Health Information Systems Monthly Upgrades coordination and testing
  • 3M Health Information Systems changes, enhancements, complex solution build
  • Navigating across Cerner solutions and 3M resources to resolve issues, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate when appropriate
  • Maintain system provisioning for 3rd party (3M) users

Pertinent Skills:

  • No less than 1 year of 3M Health Information Systems experience including system builds, upgrades, enhancements, etc.;
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail, organized, with a focus on quality of work
  • Project management skills

Basic Qualifications

  • 3M Health Information Systems experience; ideally in Encompass, EMD and CRS
  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 1 year of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
  • At least 5 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
