Job Type: Full-time (M-F, with potential for weekends)

Franzese Plumbing is looking for a full-time apprentice to join the team. This is an entry level position with no experience needed. Individuals possessing experience in plumbing or show other mechanical ability shall be prioritized accordingly.

Individual(s) selected for employment must pass a background and drug screen, individuals must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record, and individuals must be capable to work indoors and, in the field, exposed to heat and inclement weather.

The position requires manual work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. Work shall involve but not limited to new construction in commercial, educational, medical, and industrial facilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work under the guidance of foreman/lead plumber.
• Assist in the layout and installation of pipe systems and equipment.
• Dig trenches (by hand/machine) to accommodate plumbing systems.
• Assembling and gluing plastic pipe systems.
• Assembling and sweating or pressing of copper pipe systems.
• Assemble and install valves, fittings, and pipes in a timely manner.
• Assist in testing completed pipe systems and equipment for inspections/start-up.
• Assist in the installation of plumbing fixtures/trim.

Qualification Requirements:

• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Strong work ethic.
• Motivated individual.
• Basic knowledge and use of tools, hand and power.
• Must be willing to buy your own personal tools.
• Clean/Valid driving record.
• Passing of background and drug/alcohol screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
