Position Hours: 9am - 6pm / Monday - Friday
Position Objective:
Our Assisted Customer Support Agents serve as our first point of contact for visitors and callers by operating a multiple line telephone switchboard, acting as receptionist for visitors and providing clerical support to our Customer Support Team.
Position Responsibilities include:
Professionally assist incoming callers with information such as directions, appropriate party to call, etc. Operate fast-paced multiple line telephone switchboard system to receive, answer and/or accurately transfer calls. Take messages and operate internal paging system as required.
Perform assigned clerical duties to include scanning documents, contacting customers regarding denied credit card, entering manual credit card charges, reviewing possible fraudulent orders, and emailing various documents to customers upon request. Assist with scheduling conference rooms for meetings.
Greet and announce visitors. Direct to appropriate location or contact meeting party for escort.
Position Requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent oral communication skills with good grammar and professional voice.
- Six months to one year of general clerical experience required. Experience using a multiple line telephone switchboard preferred, but not required.
- Must be customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills, and at all times represent company in a professional and friendly manner.
Computer literacy required with Microsoft Office experience required. Excel preferred and PeopleSoft a plus.
