ROLE PROFILE

JOB TITLE: Associate Manager

OPERATING GROUP: TGI Fridays

FUNCTION: Operations

REPORTS TO (TITLE): General Manager

STATUS: Non-Exempt

ROLE PURPOSE

Responsible for supervising scheduled shifts and ensuring Guests receive their order in complete accuracy and building relationships with delivery services, staff and kitchen personnel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Supervise operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision-making, and staff support while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.

· Proactively run a shift and anticipate Guest needs.

· Follows the Hamburger Stand Theory, ensuring that the restaurant and staff are set up for an outstanding shift.

· Observes Team Member, providing immediate feedback, coaching, development, and recognition.

· Follow up on any issues and complaints they may have arisen during your shift.

· Leads motivational Alley Rallies ensuring that Team Members are engaged and informed regarding Fridays food.

· Ensures great food is delivered to every Guest.

· Conducts food safety and line checks to ensure food and beverage standards are met and executed safely.

· Checks in deliveries from vendors; ensuring quality and proper billing.

· Prepare end of shift reports as necessary.

· Ensures a safe working environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.

· Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all issues and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.

· Ensures that all prepared food meets TGI Fridays standard of excellence, 100% recipe adherence, and adheres to product sensitivity and plate presentation guidelines.

· Complies with all food safety rules, laws, protocols, and standards.

· Places expo-ready food packaged correctly using the appropriate zoning standards.

· Keeps updated on recipe changes. Ensures proper execution of recipe procedures to maintain a high quality and consistent product.

· Keeps entire kitchen clean; stocks and sets up rotation.

· Keeps prepared food continuously moving out of the kitchen.

· Communicates ticket times and potential problems with the service staff, kitchen staff and Managers.

· Completes assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station. Breaks down and cleans station thoroughly daily.

· Cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift.

· Ensures proper rotation of all products and stocks products to par. Labels, day dots and signs all products as appropriate.

· Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.

· Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

· Must be able to follow TGI FRIDAYS and CDC guidelines concerning any health crisis. Example Coronavirus

· Guest satisfaction scores meet/exceed company standards

· Annual sales dollars achieved compared to budget

· Meeting/Exceeding requirements for Ecosure Audit scores for the year

· Grow sales to meet or exceed annual sales budget

· Meeting Labor Budget

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

· One year of external restaurant experience with a college degree (preferred)

· Must be capable of performing all functions and meeting qualification standards for BOH and FOH positions

· Must complete and pass background check

Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift

· Must be able to read, write and speak English

· Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

· Minimum age requirements – 18 years of age
