Overview:
As an AutoCAD Technician, you will help support NAVSEA in its rollout of ARCHIBUS to support Workspace Management (WSM) functions and provide additional ARCHIBUS configurations in support of enterprise business processes and requirements for NAVSEA and its field activities. Responsibilities:

BlueWater Federal is looking for an AutoCAD Technician to join our Workspace Management team supporting our federal customer in Washington, D.C. (Navy Yard).
As an AutoCAD Technician, you will help support NAVSEA in its rollout of ARCHIBUS to support Workspace Management (WSM) functions and provide additional ARCHIBUS configurations in support of enterprise business processes and requirements for NAVSEA and its field activities.
- Create concept plans with variety of furniture
- Create furniture piece layouts for retrieving or purchases correct pieces
- Provide data based on floor plans, ie. Square footages of certain space, etc., digesting and ingesting floor plans into Archibus.
- Keep files in an organized structure
- 10+ years of experience with AutoCAD
- 3+ years of working knowledge of current furniture product lines templates/components
- Must have an active Secret clearance
- Experience with AEC standards, AutoCAD based CAFM/IWMS systems, AutoCAD classes for architecture floor plans and BIM modeling (Revit).
