Adecco has partnered with a global manufacturing company to assist with their search for an Automation Analytics Engineer to take PLC generated data and formulate that data into useful reports that will be utilized to enhance production, quality, and energy efficiency. This position will work closely with IT, Automation, Operations, and Reliability cross-functional teams with the goal of improving overall plant performance and reducing energy usage.

Ideal candidates will have experience with:
  • Data Analysis utilizing real-time data acquisition and reporting systems such as AspenTech ip.21, AVEVA PI, and/or ibaPDA.
  • Live Visualization tools such as dashboards and digital signage.
  • Data aggregation into meaningful reports
Utilizing the following tools:
  • AspenTech ip.21, AVEVA PI, and/or ibaPDA.
  • Programming languages such as Visual Basic, C#, FORTRAN, SQL, etc.
  • Experience with Visual Basic 6.0 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Industrial communications - Profinet, Modbus, UDP, TCP, etc.
A Bachelor in Engineering or Information Technology and experience in a manufacturing environment (including co-ops and internships) is required.
This position is located in the heart of Appalachia with a variety of outdoor activities available year round and offers a salary of $80K+ with a generous benefits plan including employer contribution into a 401K plan (up to 9%) and participation in a quarterly bonus program. Relocation assistance is available.
