Atwater’s Catonsville is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic bartender to be part of a burgeoning bar program that just began brunch service with dinner service on the horizon.

The ideal person for the job will have relevant bar program experience and knowledge with a desire to learn more about the history of Atwater’s traditional and developing food offerings. They will value responsibly serving beer, wine, and spirits to compliment Atwater’s locally produced soup, bread, cheese, and jam. They will value opportunities to grow their knowledge of Atwater's food offerings and will enjoy their part in creating a safe and clean bar area with accountable inventory management. They will be looking to work alongside a group of diverse and dedicated people. Reliable transportation and communication are musts.

Duties and Responsibility (including, but not limited to):

· Serve & deliver genuine exceptional service to guests within the bar and bar area.

· Taking accurate food and beverage orders while giving attentive, revenue-generating suggestions.

· Be able to provide a professional and friendly dining experience to ensure guest satisfaction.

· Prepare drinks for bar and dining room guests promptly.

· Maintain proper cleanliness in the bar area.

· Always display a professional and friendly demeanor.

· Provide opening and closing inventory of spirits.

· Have enthusiasm and knowledge of our offerings, extensive drink menu, and ongoing promotions.

· Must be able to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Team player attitude.

· Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.

· Previous experience preferred.

Qualifications:

· Have a minimum of 2 years of serving/bartending experience in a similar food and beverage environment.

· Have excellent bartending skills and knowledge.

· Having a sound knowledge of wines and wine service is an asset.

· Have excellent bartending skills and knowledge.

· Display high initiative, be self-motivated, and require minimal supervision.

· Must have or be willing to obtain Maryland TIPS certification.
