Job description

We are seeking a dynamically experienced communication professional to join our team to assist in developing creative approaches for sharing information about supplemental benefits and wellness initiatives.

  • This position will edit key documents to be accessed by employers and employees for the purpose of learning more about the NCFlex benefits and wellness programs.
  • This position will manage benefit and wellness communications by preparing announcement materials, member newsletters and alerts, booklets, presentations, and other types of media for communicating benefits and wellness information.
  • This position will manage the planning and moderating of virtual presentations for benefits and wellness training and information sessions.
  • This position will assist in the planning and management of in-person awards events, which includes coordination with key participants and the creation of event flyers, programs, and other communication items.

Division Information

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience in the use of creative design software and PowerPoint.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-tasking and managing simultaneous projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in web edits.
  • Demonstrated experience in moderating events in virtual webinar platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in event planning and/or management.
Classification / Grade: State HR Consultant I / NC15

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor s degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
